What happens if I disconnect mid-hand?
A timer runs before your hand is folded. Chips already all in stay live to showdown.
During the Hand
If you disconnect while a hand is in progress, your time bank starts running immediately.
- Reconnect before it expires and you’ll resume play as normal, right where you left off.
- If your time bank runs out before you reconnect, your hand is automatically folded.
If You’re Already All-In
Chips already committed to the pot stay live. The hand will be dealt to showdown regardless of whether you’re connected, and you’ll still win the pot if you end up with the best hand.
After the Hand
| Timing | Result |
|---|---|
| Reconnect within a short window | Your seat and stack are still there waiting for you |
| Reconnect after that window | You’re stood up from the table, and your stack is returned to your balance |
Either way, nothing is lost.
In Tournaments
Disconnecting doesn’t eliminate you from a tournament. Here’s what happens instead:
- Your stack keeps posting blinds and antes as normal.
- You’re automatically folded in any hands you’re unable to act in.
- Once you reconnect, you can keep playing with whatever stack remains.
Tip
If you’re having trouble reconnecting, try refreshing your browser. It usually restores the table faster than waiting for the timer to run out.
