Where can I get help with gambling?
Free, confidential support from independent organisations with no connection to Basepoker.
Signs worth taking seriously
- Playing longer or for more than you intended, repeatedly
- Chasing losses with bets you would not otherwise make
- Borrowing money, or selling things, to play
- Hiding how much you play from people close to you
- Playing to escape stress or low mood rather than for enjoyment
- Feeling irritable or restless when you try to stop
One on its own is worth a pause. Several together is worth talking to someone.
