How do I self-exclude or take a break?

Time-outs and self-exclusion are in Settings, take effect immediately, and cannot be reversed early.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel you need a break from gambling, Basepoker gives you the option to self-exclude your account for a set period of time, or permanently.

How to self-exclude

You can set up self-exclusion in one of two ways:

  • From your Profile page: go to your account settings and select the self-exclusion option, then choose the duration that works for you.
  • Through our Support Center: contact our team directly and they’ll walk you through the process and apply the exclusion for you.

Choosing a duration

When you self-exclude, you’ll be asked to choose how long the exclusion should last. You can select a fixed period, or choose a permanent exclusion.

  • Fixed period: Your account will be restricted for the length of time you select.
  • Permanent: Once confirmed, this cannot be undone. Your account will remain closed and cannot be reopened or reactivated at any point in the future, so make sure this is the right choice before confirming.

Lifting a fixed-period exclusion early

If you selected a fixed period, you can request to have it lifted before it expires by contacting our Support Center. Keep in mind that self-exclusion is meant to give you space and control over your play, so we’d encourage you to think carefully before asking to end it early.
